Who is Namaste Solar? Boulder, CO based Solar company

During stimulus bill signing ceremony, governor Colorado, VP and president Obama gave an example of Namaste Solar, Boulder based company, almost 10 times during their speech. Namaste sounds very Indian name but owner is not an Indian. His name is Blake Jones and is a president of Namaste Solar. I am sure he has some Indian root in his family or some kind of connection with India to keep his company name – Namaste Solar. Interestingly, he enjoys playing soccer, learning about foreign cultures, playing the sitar and practicing Tai Chi.

What is meaning of Namaste?
Namaste \’nah-mah-stay\: [Sanskrit] Greeting of great respect, celebrating the interdependence of all living things. Namasté, Namaskar or Namaskaram (Sanskrit: नमस्ते from external sandhi between namaḥ and te) is a common spoken greeting or salutation in the Indian subcontinent. Namaskar is considered a slightly more formal version than namasté but both express deep respect. It is commonly used in India and Nepal by Hindus, Jains and Buddhists, and many continue to use this outside the Indian subcontinent.
